Professional furniture cleaning Melbourne
Upholstery cleaning for fresher, healthier furniture.
Careful fabric inspection, fibre identification and a choice of low-moisture Green Clean or truck-mounted steam extraction.
Focus on furniture
Refresh furniture that looks soiled, dull or tired
Furniture is often overlooked when planning regular cleaning. Body oils, contaminants and permanent soiling can gradually make relatively new furniture look old and tired. It can also be difficult to know which products and methods are safe for the fabric.
Yellow Brick Road can assess your furniture, answer your questions and provide a process intended to leave it refreshed and hygienically cleaned.

What our upholstery-cleaning service includes
We identify potential issues and explain what you can realistically expect from the clean.
The upholstery fibre is identified so the cleaning agents and method can be selected appropriately.
Hospital and commercial-grade HEPA filtration helps reduce airborne contaminants during preparation.
Cleaning agents are carefully agitated to support soil separation and improve the final result.
Green Clean
This method uses biodegradable, environmentally friendly Green Clean agents together with specialised microfibre and cotton pads for a deeper, drier clean.
Steam Clean
This method uses a hot pre-spray of cleaning agent and the powerful Prochem truck-mounted hot-water extraction unit for professional furniture cleaning.
Not sure which method suits your furniture?
The fabric, construction, condition and type of soiling all affect the recommended process. Our technicians inspect the furniture before cleaning and explain the proposed method.
Fabric protection
To extend the life of your fabrics, ask about our environmentally friendly fabric protector. It acts as an inhibitor against everyday spillages such as food and drinks, giving you time to absorb excess moisture before further damage occurs.
The products are suitable for all fibres and are designed not to alter the intended texture, feel or colour of the fabric.
Pet stains and odours
Ammonia, uric acid and salt in pet urine can permanently yellow or brown fibres and cannot always be removed. Yellow Brick Road uses current neutralising and deodorising treatments, but cannot guarantee that every pet stain or odour will completely disappear.
Treatment for pet stains and odours incurs an additional charge.
This treatment is not a pet repellent. It is a cleaning process intended only to assist with the removal of smells associated with urine.
Furniture and floor care
Refresh the sofa, chairs and carpet together.
Many customers combine furniture cleaning with carpet or rug care. Tell us which items need attention and we can discuss the most suitable method for each surface.
Frequently asked questions
Useful answers before you book.
Furniture fabrics vary considerably, so the pre-inspection is an important part of selecting a safe and suitable process.
How do you choose the cleaning method?
